Attachment Separation and Loss
This course considers a range of issues relating to attachment separation and loss issues experienced by children, young people and their families.
For: Managers and Supervisors, Social Workers, Children & Family Support, Foster Care, Residential Workers, Youth Support Service Staff, Youth Offending Team, Children Centre Staff
The course considers how attachment, loss and separation impacts on behaviour and how this may affect development of empathy, self esteem and motivation in relation to offending behaviours The subject matter for this course can be highly emotive and it is recommended that anyone with current bereavement issues be support during and following the training as the content may create triggers for individual staff members The trainers both have extensive skills and knowledge in working in attachments, loss and bereavement issues and will tailor the material to suit the needs of the team.
